Someone wrote that she was giving up. It was not a request for a new feature or a price comparison. It was the conclusion of someone who had invested hope and time in a system that returned too much uncertainty, too much noise and too little care.
VOWIA was born to answer humbly: we do not know who anyone's true love will be, but we can refuse to build another machine that profits from people never finding them. We can design for patience instead of compulsion, attention instead of comparison, and a healthy exit instead of retention.
Our ambition is large, so our promise must be precise. We do not make magic. We do not measure a person's worth. We do not turn desire into a ranking. We do not ask for blind faith in an algorithm. We build conditions: a more authentic identity, a more thoughtful proposal, a safer conversation and a more dignified way to close when it does not work.
This Constitution exists because the gravest danger is not that a model fails. It is that VOWIA succeeds commercially and slowly adopts the same practices it was created to reject. That is why we write down what is not for sale, what is not negotiable and the question that must govern every decision.
The project will deserve its name only while it remembers that every account contains a real life. That life does not owe us engagement. We owe it honesty.

An environment that protects trust
Some behaviours will find no shelter in VOWIA.
Our number-one public enemies are not people: they are patterns that destroy trust. We will detect them, interrupt them and, when necessary, remove people who persist in them.

VOWIA does not promise to read minds. It promises to design more room for honesty and less room for harmful behaviour.
